Do the children train?
The Committee of MLLF would like to stress that team training is not pre-requisite of MLLF teams and is carried out on a voluntary basis. However we do encourage player improvement especially where it leads to reducing the risk of injury.
All training must be supervised by a Manager or Assistant who has been CRB checked and cannot be someone external to the league who hasn't been CRB Checked. No preference will be shown, when picking teams for Saturday games, to those who turn up for training and those who do not.
The guarantee of a minimum half game on a Saturday is not compromised for players not participating in training.
For more information about training and charging, visit Managers Guide - Training Page 20,21
