MANAGERS AND ASSISTANTS CODE OF CONDUCT |
- Never use foul or abusive language or behave badly or aggressively
towards your team
players,
officials or anyone else.
- Never argue with the referee, other team managers or officials.
- Ensure all players play within the laws and rules of the game.
- Ensure all players acknowledge their opponents at the end of each game whatever the result may be.
- Be impartial in decision making and support, encourage and praise players whilst taking a balanced view when making substitutions, taking into account players circumstances and abilities. (Please remember every player in your team is entitled to half a game regardless of their ability).
- Identify yourself to parents/guardians before approaching the children until such time as everyone is aware of your role whether it is manager or assistant manager.
- Do not enter a changing room or confined area without another adult present.
(If managing a girl’s team at least one of the adults must be female).
- Follow and comply with FA Rules and the Managers Guide to MLLF Rules and notify the League Committee if you feel that this is not being upheld by other managers and officials. (11-a-side in Seniors, Juniors and Girls, 7-a-side in Mini Soccer)
Accept that football is fun and do not attempt to win at all costs.
- Always set a good example.
The Management Committee reserve the right to consider penalties up to and including
permanent exclusion for failing to accept and follow the above Code of Conduct.

PARENTS/GUARDIANS CODE OF CONDUCT |
- Never use foul or abusive language or behave badly or violently towards your team players, opponents, officials or anyone else.
- Support, encourage and praise players regardless of their ability.
- Show respect towards opponents, referees, managers and match officials.
- Discuss team matters in private.
- No alcohol or drugs whilst in attendance of the game.
- Do not put undue pressure on players and always encourage.
The League Management Committee reserve the right to consider penalties up to and including permanent exclusion for failing to accept and follow the above code of conduct.

- Accept manager’s decisions.
- Respect your opponents, acknowledging them at the end of your game, whatever the result may be.
- Play for fun, respect your team mates and accept others limitations.
